Self Administered Pregnancy Testing
Confidential and Free of Charge
Pregnancy may be indicated by the center's test prior to a missed period. At 3 weeks after the last menstrual period, a pregnant woman can expect her hCG level to be 5 to 50 mlU/mi. The center's test has a >99.0% accuracy and can detect hCH (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) in a qualitative manner sensitive to 20 mlU/mi. The hCG hormone is produced when the embryo begins to implant into the uterus lining. Implantation occurs 6-12 days after ovulation but usually by 10 days. In addition to receiving a self-administered pregnancy test, you can receive information and support from our counselors. All services including the test are confidential and no cost. |
